It is not possible to overstate the extent of the overreach of the provisions proposed via Regulation 10-242 , in the name of “public health” (You can Download here.):
- Whether you trust the “experts” or not, you could be forced to comply with provisions in this regulation.
- Authorities can interview minor children without parent / guardian present.
- Health officials can administer protocols deemed necessary to “prevent, contain, or mitigate”, without parental consent or notification.
- Removes a religious provision (p. 274) and doubles down on only state-sanctioned treatments.
- Officials can enter private premises without a warrant to conduct contact tracing and investigations.
- Restrictions can be aimed, not just at RESPONDING to emergencies, but at “PREVENTING” them. This could justify, in the mind of government officials, just about any draconian measures.
- Enforcing this via agencies may bypass the intent of the 2021 PA Constitutional Amendment, as measures taken would not be instituted by the governor.
